Acts 3:6-7 “Then Peter responded, “I lack silver and gold, but I give you what I have: Rise and walk in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.” And he grasped him by the right hand and hoisted him up, instantly strengthening his feet and ankle bones”.
While prayer is the most effective strategy for overcoming obstacles and obtaining extraordinary results, it is not adequate. Prayer builds spiritual stamina, unlocks all doors, and brings insight into greater potential. It is a spiritual exercise that spiritually empowers the practitioner. Prayer, when joined with action, opens new possibilities. In general, each prayer contains a plan of action. God will not do for you what you can do for yourself. Some people continue to pray for their prayers to be answered because they are unaware of the action plan.
Acts 3:6-7 detailed how Peter prayed for the crippled man at the beautiful gate and then took additional steps to ensure that the prayer was effective. After the prayer, he grasped him by the right hand and assisted him in rising, restoring vigour to every compromised system. Following our prayers, let us be on the lookout for the next thing the Lord may want us to do to accomplish the intended result. St James advised us on the fundamental premise of life: “Faith strengthened by labour is life,” but “Faith alone from the activity is dead” (James 2:17)
How, beloved, do you pray for advancement when you lack a track record of diligence? Pray for marriage when you have a terrible attitude, for protection when you create enemies everywhere, and for peace when you are evil. It is not solely about the prayers, but also about what occurs afterwards. Let us pray as if our lives depended on it and work as if our lives depended on it. It is up to you to demonstrate the efficacy of your prayers. Convert your prayer into an attitude that corresponds to your prayer.
Have a wonderful day!
